Holland's A.G. & Kate - heat-wave without air-con on USA prisons-tour

How are you all, both in England and in the US? In the US it is hard to stay cool, with this heat wave, but in England (I understood) it's been pretty warm too. Hope you are all doing well.

So far the tour has gone well. Had several cancellations (even on the spot because they had lost our phone number to let us know ahead of time?!?!?!) but the rest of the concerts have been blessed, both in the prisons as well as in the churches. The income has been down, due to the fact that people have less to spare, but so far we are coping.

A.G.'s hearing has improved some and we praise the Lord for that. He can work with it the way it is, and we'll have the rest sorted when we go home in December.

The car is running fine (even after 336.000 miles) but we have been without airconditioning for two weeks. THey looked at it, fixed it, looked at it, fixed it again, and looked at it a third time (in three different States) and at the moment it is working again. Last week is was like driving in a sauna. The high was 100 and the heat index 110 and that is hot!! Especially when you are driving without AC.

Monday we started in NOrth Carolina and we'll be here for close to 6 weeks, working our way from the coast to the mountains.

"I know Hollond lost in the World Cup Final to Spain but we feel the best team won. Holland did not play pretty.
Still, 700,000 people came to see the team in Amsterdam today. They were happy they did as well as they did, I guess.
In America football is not a game that is appreciated, but at least they showed all the games this time on TV.
Our prisons programs have been blessed, last night we had 153 men at the Huttonsville prison in West Virginia. God bless!"
