More singers join Heal Our Land

Dear Prayer Warriors,
I have updated the website with all the latest news in Bexhill-on-Sea and what is happening this week in evangelism as well as what is happening in Fair Oak Eastleigh Hampshire.

We will be very busy traveling, organising and evangelising. Please pray with us for strength, health, and anointing. We need safety in traveling and for everyone associated with the musical!
Pray for continued good weather, for finances to come in and for many to come to Christ. Pray for 100s to come to the tent in Fair Oak. It can hold 1200!
By the way, if you are coming....we praise God for the prayer walkers, bike riders and others who came from Ashford to support Bexhill, please bring a lawn chair to sit on!
God has been moving powerfully..the choir has grown from 16 members to 55 in the last 10 days! Pray for their ability to learn the songs!!!
Pray for wisdom and guidance for the future! 3 areas in the USA are considering staging the musical.

BEXHILL-ON-SEA....PRAYER BEGINS SUNDAY!!!!!!

Several churches in Bexhill-on-Sea invited Heal Our Land UK into their area. They were shocked when the De La Warr Pavilion refused their request to hire the theater to them. This put them in an awkward position as the only church in the town large enough to hold the event, St. Barnabas, was eager to help, but are having extensive building work done.

So now 2 presentations will be held in the:
Beulah Baptist Church at 3:30 & 7pm, Buckhurst Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex TN40 1QA Free tickets can be reserved from 01424 225918.

Global prayer networks will be joining the churches in Bexhill-on- Sea for a week of prayer, beginning on 4th July and ending with a prayer walk from Ashford, Kent passing on the prayer 'baton' 10 July. If you want to join the prayer walk at any point, contact us at healourlanduk@yahoo.com and we will let you know the schedule.

The musical event on 10 July begins at 3:30pm with another presentation at 7pm.
Pray with us for 700 people to fill the seats at Beulah Baptist Church in Bexhill-on-Sea. If live in southern England or even London, come down and join us! The nation needs PRAYER!!!! The people need Jesus!!!!!

AN IDEA: WHY NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY ON A PICNIC AT THE SEASIDE BEFORE OR AFTER ONE OF THE PERFORMANCES.

Sunday 11th ushers in a week of evangelism in the town! Everyone is most welcome! PRAY FOR MANY TO COME TO CHRIST AND AS ALWAYS....FOR GREAT WEATHER!!!!!

SOME REASONS WE THINK BEXHILL-ON-SEA VERY IMPORTANT IN GOD'S STRATEGY.
It is the site of the invasion of the Normans in 1066...
We have had opposition from the De La Warr Pavilion...
There is a move on to open an Islamic Centre in the town...
There is a 'training centre' for Arab pilots outside of the town...
Every week a group believers from many of the churches go prayer walking around the town.

NOT ONLY THAT BUT......

BATTLE FOR BRITAIN
Bexhill on Sea falls on the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Battle of Britain, 10th July 1940. Defeat appeared inevitable but, as if by some prophetic foreknowledge, the King and his church advisers had called for Sunday 8th September 1940 to be another national day of prayer to give thanks to Almighty God for the miracle of deliverance at Dunkirk, but the day of Thanksgiving soon turned to prayer for another miracle to turn the tide in what was already becoming known as the 'Battle of Britain'!
Suddenly, for no rational reason, Hitler ordered the Luftwaffe to switch it's attack back to London. This saved Fighter Command. For the Germans, it was a, 'catastrophic blunder ..' and proved to be a turning point in the war. The Spitfires and Hurricanes took a tremendous toll of the enemy and by mid - September, the German Air Force had suffered such great losses that they ceased their mass attacks. On the 17th September 1940 the German High Command issued an order,
'The invasion of England is postponed until further notice.'
The Battle of Britain was won. Winston Churchill addressed the nation: 'Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed by so many to so few.'
But the whole nation acknowledged that it was not simply their tiny but resourceful armed forces, or the skill of their young airmen that had repelled the might of the enemy but the power of prayer and the faithfulness of God.
In this Battle for Britain, AIR SUPREMACY must be gained in the spiritual realm! Our prayers do just that (2 Cor 10:4). God hears us and creates the conditions for victory, and like those courageous men and women who risked their lives to save fellow countrymen, we, as believers must be mobilised to rescue our families, friends, neighbours and work colleagues from the dangerous moral decay and sinister corruption that threatens our very existence! This is not a battle that can be won, on the land or in the air, with physical weapons of war, the weapons must be SPIRITUAL. We believe Heal Our Land UK in Bexhill is a part of this Divine arsenal! We get air supremacy and then take our streets back for Jesus!

JEAN DARNALL, OUR FRIEND AND WELL KNOWN CHRISTIAN LEADER FOR YEARS IN THE UK HAS SENT US A PRAYER FOR BEXHILL-ON-SEA...

"Dear Lord, please cause the Body of Christ in Britain to unite and rise up
as Soldiers of the Cross to claim sin-sick souls who through weakness and
ignorance have need of Your love. Send the forces of heaven against the
invaders from hell, as your Church rescues the lost." Amen!

I SAY TO THE CHURCH IN BRITAIN, DON'T WASTE YOUR POWER GIVEN TO YOU BY THE RENEWAL GOD SENT TO YOU IN THE 20TH CENTURY! THIS IS THE TIME YOU NEED TO USE IT. SAVE YOUR NATION! YOU HAVE YET TO CHANGE THE WORLD.

Dear Prayer Partners,
Thank you all so much for your continued prayers as HOL gets going in the UK. As you know, both the Liverpool and Ashford missions have seen God move in amazing ways. Souls have been saved, and God's people challenged, edified and strengthened. A 'light has been lit' – further fulfilling the prophecy given by Jean Darnall those years ago when she 'saw' light all over the UK. And praise God for Syd and Liz – they are 'something else'! – for Monica and Clifford Hill, for the talented choir, for all the local churches/leaders who so willingly and ably worked together in unity to see these Missions accomplish great things for God, and for the many others involved who all put in such hard work.
Here in Ashford we commented a number of times that there was an increased 'lightness' and openness spiritually speaking in the town - no doubt in answer to persistent prayer.
Now is a crucial time for HOL – that the UK Church will catch the vision of its potential, under God, to be part of His strategy to awaken/restore 'Broken Britain'. Praise the Lord for answered prayer for Bexhill. Let's continue to pray, among other things, that:
the momentum generated in each city will be maintained/increase.
every obstacle to God's will for HOL will be removed.
every provision will be made – for Syd and Liz, the choir and all on the cutting edge. Finances is another key area.

After a very successful time in Ashford, Heal Our Land UK continues its UK tour mobilising the church for prayer and action in East and West Sussex at Bexhill - on- Sea, with 2 performances - 3:00 and 7:00pm at the Beulah Baptist Church, Buckhurst Road, Sat., 10th July. Free tickets can be reserved by ringing 01424 225918. Pray for everything to move smoothly as these folks have been up against it with the refusal of the local theatre there to host it.

We then move on to Hampshire where the event will be staged in Fair Oak, Eastleigh, as part of the Wyvern Technology College Creative Arts Festival, in the Big Top, Sunday, 18 July 6:00pm. Tickets are £5 on sale at the door or by contacting healourlanduk@yahoo.com.

Please pray about these events now as people are hearing about them and planning to join us!

Only 1 day to go before the Heal Our Land UK event in the Stour Centre and the week of evangelism to follow!

As we have been praying we have been reminded of the significance of this weekend and week to come.

Here in Ashford Kent is a church that goes back over 800 years! This Sunday we celebrate Pentecost. On a Pentecost Sunday in 1517 a believer named John Brown was martyred by being burnt at the stake in Ashford. We stood in that very spot last night and prayed that his sacrifice and that of others who were martyred here would not be in vain, and that this very weekend we would see the church 'on fire' again, but this time with the fire of the Holy Spirit.

Also this weekend marks the 70th anniversary of the miracle of Dunkirk. -- we have included the following in our script this Saturday evening....

The early days of the Second World War threatened to bring the whole of Europe under the dark cloud of Nazi oppression.
France had fallen to the rapidly advancing German Panzer divisions leaving the British Army stranded on the Continent and desperate to return across the Channel to defend their home land from what appeared to be inevitable invasion.
It was a desperate situation and on 27th May 1940 the German High Command announced
"The British Army is encircled and our troops are proceeding to its annihilation."
But the dire plight of the situation had already been recognised in Britain.
The day before the German announcement, Sunday 26th May, King George VI called the whole nation to a Day of Prayer.
In a stirring broadcast, the King called the people of Britain and the Empire to commit their cause to God. The whole nation responded. Large crowds went to Westminster Abbey. Unable to find seats inside, they stood outside listening to the service and joining in prayer. Churches across the land were full. Immediately a series of miracles occurred.

THREE MIRACLES
1. A spirit of confusion clouded the German High Command. Irrationally, Hitler ordered his generals to halt the advance towards the west coast of France.

2. A storm of extraordinary fury grounded the German Luftwaffe on 28th May allowing the British forces to make their way to Dunkirk.

3. A great calm followed which settled over the English Channel for several days with low cloud cover allowing an armada of little ships, many of them only river boats, to cross the Channel and ferry the waiting soldiers from the beaches out to Royal Navy warships for the return to Dover.

Amazingly 335,000 men were evacuated from Dunkirk in those few momentous days which were a turning point in world history. This was seen at the time as a direct response to the whole nation coming in humility before God in prayer.

Winston Churchill, the British Prime Minister, told the nation that he believed this to be a miracle - an answer to prayer.
In a speech to Parliament he said,
"I thought, and some good judges agreed with me, that perhaps 20,000 or 30,000 men might be re- embarked. The whole root and core and brain of the British Army seemed about to perish upon the field or to be led into captivity."

CONFUSION IN ENEMY HIGH COMMAND
But the safe return of so many men did not guarantee the survival of Britain. The army had had to leave its weapons and equipment in France and now had to regroup, rearm and reposition itself to face the threat of invasion. The spirit of confusion continued to affect Hitler's judgement.
Amazingly, he did not follow across the channel immediately after Dunkirk when Britain was at his mercy. He continued to hesitate throughout June to August 1940 giving Britain a breathing space and an opportunity to re-group and prepare for the coming battle.

BRITAIN IS IN GREAT TROUBLE AGAIN

BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS - GOD STILL ANSWERS PRAYER! HE CARES FOR OUR COUNTRY!

TODAY, MEN AND WOMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS ARE STRANDED ON THE BEACH OF AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE.
Under enemy attack, they are ravaged by the results of a society driven by greed and lust. They are lost in a spiritual vacuum.
God is answering our prayers, he is creating the conditions for rescue. Like those courageous men and women who took to their boats, risking their lives to save their fellow countrymen, we, as believers need to be mobilised to rescue our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues from the of moral decay and corruption that threatens our very existence!

This is not a battle that can be won on the land or in the air with physical weapons of war,

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. our weapons are 2 Cor. 10:4

WE ARE CONVINCED THAT GOD IS CALLING HIS PEOPLE FROM AROUND THIS REGION TO COME TOGETHER FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS! TO BE RECONCILED AND TO BE RE- FIRED TO SEE THIS NATION COME TO JESUS!


Here is what is happening and the main things to pray for:

Heal Our Land Presentation - This Saturday, May 22nd, 7:30 p.m. (2:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time). This is an amazing call to the Church to repent, turn from it's wicked ways so God can heal this broken land of England. This event is primarily for believers but unbelievers will come too. AGAIN, we need 1000 people to come to fill the Stour Centre main hall! Pray that people from around the region will flood into this place as they did to Liverpool cathedral. The devil has sown seeds of discord in the past that are still dividing some people...we want to see those weeds pulled up and burned up in the fire of God's love!!!!!
Sunday Service -- This Sunday, May 23rd, 10:30 a.m. Services all over the town will be celebrating Pentecost...come down and fire us up Holy Spirit!
Monday evening Liz will be sharing the Gospel to 200 women at an International meal...it is SOLD OUT! Pray for women to come to know Jesus.
Tuesday evening we have a concert at the ACF building with Gospel singer Jimmy Lee Howard - pray for many to come to know Christ!
Wednesday evening is an evangelistic Men's meal, our colleague Mark Vanderput will be sharing along with Jimmy Lee.
Friday evening is a youth concert featuring our team members, Kristin and Charity.

30 Half Hour Presentations In Christchurch School--Tuesday, May 25th to Friday, May 28th--Mornings. A team of four of us will be going into 30 classes for kids ranging from ages 13-15 during their religious instruction hours. These kids do not know the Lord but the man in charge of this school program does!
Street Witnessing/Street Preaching--Tuesday, May 25th to Friday, May 28th--Afternoons. Right in the middle of Ashford in the bandstand and on the street!
Multi-Cultural Extravaganza -- Saturday, May 29th, Noon to 5 P.M. (EST). This a great evangelistic event using singers, dancers, etc. from the nations who live here in Ashford. We expect some 3,000 - 4,000 people to come to the park and hear the Gospel in very fun surroundings.
