POLICY RE: ARTISTS’ CONCERT CONTENTS

Image: Laura__Amy.JPG(A)All singers in particular are asked to sit in the audience or on stage for all performances and generally participate via vocal "sing-along" & clapping (when requested). Remember, please that you may be on the video camera and your facial expressions and body language are important at all times. Beware of unguarded moments of distraction,tiredness etc.
(B) Organisational time is very limited so artists are asked to keep their stage presentations 'basic and simple' especially with reference to sound-engineering. Time for sound-checks will be negligible because of the number of artists on the bill.
(C)Communicate with Justin Miller (Sound Engineer) ( justin@soundtruth.co.uk ) regarding sound needs (mikes, backing tracks etc)
(D) Artists are expected to:
1. assemble 20 minutes early for their presentations & their appearances on stage reporting to the MCs & Certificate Organisers & sound engineer ( justin@soundtruth.co.uk );
2. strictly keep to their time allocation (10 or 15 minutes max as decreed by the MCs.);
3. strictly avoid too much talking at the expense of singing;
4. strictly use their time for music directed towards the 'worship' & edification themes & audience participation where possible;
5. strictly no 'encores' are allowed.
6. ensure that they do not leave their instruments & stands etc that may clutter the stage age.

NCM WEEKEND 2010 THANKS & COMMENDATIONS

NCM DiscThanks very, very much for all that you did to make the UKCMA NCM Weekend 2010 such a huge success here in Leighton Buzzard in the heartland of middle England.
It was wonderful to enjoy the company of folks who travelled from so many parts to be with us. Many diverse parts of the world were represented. The annual event is gathering attention and its national and international benefits are being more and more evident as illustrated when we showcased the Heal Our Land musical soon to tour the UK.
Clearly, from the many comments that I have received many , many people have been blessed and encouraged in their attendence, faith and service including the many artistes, media, and musicians. I will be pleased to add your commendations to those received already.
Thanks to all who provided help, services, networking, support, and talent! Thanks too for the visit of the Town Deputy Mayor and his wife that gave the event community and municipal significence. It's great - amid all the bad news - to joyfully proclaim some good news! PAUL DAVIS

COMMENDATIONS:
Many thanks for all your hard work at the weekend. Thanks for the incredibly professional sound engineering last weekend. I work with allot of sounds engineers and what you put together was as top notch as any I have seen (and heard). John Heavens (artist)

Thanks Paul, Hazel & all your workers! CMA weekend is truly a special annual event when we look forward to being with all the artistes again. Thank you for such a warm welcome to Liz and I & to the Heal Our Land Singers and Cliff & Monica Hill. Thank you for our awards & also the one to our daughter Rachel Martinez. May you continue to go from strength, touching the nations with His Song. Syd & Liz Doyle (Evangelists USA)

Thanks for putting on the NCM weekend, it's a great event in the Annual calender, all aimed at lifting up the Name of Jesus. And it was good to meet old friends again and make new ones, All with a heart to spread the Gospel. God Bless, Michael J Ramplin & Martin Dawson (artists)

Hi Paul and the team,Thanks for the Weekend, its coming together, great pa system etc. I enjoyed seeing everyone again. God gets the Glory I know that, but remember,let another praise you and not your own mouth, a stranger and not your own lips, so dont be afraid when people say well done, because one day Jesus will say the same to us! Regards! Rob Ash, Wales (artist)

A big "thank you and well done" for the weekend and especially for the warm welcome that Pauline, Becky and I were given. Peter Aston (artist)

The entire NCM Weekend was a great blessing for all. Well done for the magnificent support from the Leighton Christian Fellowship. The sound system and the videoing were excellent. We plan to support it again next year, DV. Peter Honour (Evangelist)

The UKCMA NCM Weekend was a great pleasure. Thank you for inviting me, and thank you for my award. I look forward to seeing you again soon. Gary Curtis (artist)

It was good to get to the NCM/UK CMA weekend. We greatly enjoyed the time we had and were encouraged and blessed by the musicians and the lovely atmosphere. I do hope the weekend went well overall, and you feel encouraged by what took place. Well done on the weekend. Best wishes! Tim Cutting (Director/Mission India)

Thank you for the NCM weekend. Your promotion of Christian Music is amazing. Thanks again for the support (and the award). Blessings!Matt McChlery (artist)

Thank you most sincerely for the very warm welcome you gave me. It was a real joy to share in the event which brings so many folk together with a united aim which was so evident right from the start. It has certainly given me a greater vision of what God is doing on a much wider scale and I do appreciate all that must go on behind the scenes to produce an event of such high quality. I am sure God will continue to bless you and the team as you serve Him in this way. David Aird (Broadcaster/Edinburgh)

Shaz and I really enjoyed being there as it was great. The sound system was brilliant. Justin and his team did a great job. We thought that the artists were good if not excellent. The canteen was excellent and we both felt that the food was first class and the staff and ambience in the restaurant were really good. We both felt really blessed and encouraged having been at NCM this year. Radio Eden is planning to run a weekend of the NCM concerts in a couple of weeks time and advertise it on the station prior to the airing the concerts to try and build it up to a 'big' event and then just run all 5 concerts over a weekend. You are doing a great job and I am grateful to have had the privilege to have been part of it. The whole UKCMA-NCM event was aired over the weekend with approximately a 3 hours delay. Saturday programmes were repeated a few times as were Sunday programmes. In other words NCM Weekend was aired worldwide for about 30 hours over the weekend. Michael Schonborn (Director/Radio Eden)

The whole weekend end was a rip-roaring success. May God continue to bless you and the Leighton Christian Fellowship team as you serve the Kingdom in this way.
